Raw Edge Applique' 27"x 27". Novelty techniques are always fun. They come and go and keep quilting fresh and alive. Frayed edges, raw edges, rag quilts all come to mind when I think of novelty techniques. The objective is to create a fringe around the shape. This pattern explores the possibilities of the technique using the circle or arc shape.
