Evolution (Polygon Sampler Series, Book 3)

Evolution is a modern polygon sampler quilt that uses diamonds, pyramids, hexagons, half-hexagons, kites and houses; geometric playmates. The rhythm when piecing polygon shapes from block-to-block makes assembly a snap. When using the Polygon Tools shapes are cut from 3” or 5½” strips. Seam allowances are built-in. Hence, effortless cutting with no math!

Included Bonus: Instruction sheet for Metamorphosis blocks using Polygon 5 Tool with its easier block border design. 

As a bonus, this project may also be completed in miniature using English Paper Piecing. Follow the piecing order provided in this pattern; use your favorite method to prepare the pieces (glue or thread baste). For easy reference, I have included paper template sizes and quantities in quick glance conversion tables throughout the booklet.

Evolution’s hexagon blocks make fabulous table/bed runners or table topper. One hexagon block surrounded by connectors and squares measures at a full 22”; the perfect size for a table topper. Let’s play with polygons; it’s so easy you’ll fall in love.
